Roger Daltry's recently released album As Long As I Have You includes his version of the K T Oslin song Where Is A Woman To Go previously recorded by Dusty

Listened to it and sounds awful!!! Won't be buying and don't think that it is a tribute to Dusty! Time to go back to fishing Roger!

There is short piece of video on YouTube in which Daltry talks with the album's producer about the song and how he first heard Dusty sing it. He's a fan.

I recall reading a long time ago that Daltry is allegedly homophobic! For that reason I don't own a single Who album!

I remember back in the sixties Daltrey was not comfortable with the fervor of his male fans, and he threatened to pummel anyone who got too close. Also, when Pete Townshend revealed in an interview in the nineties that he had a female gender identity Roger responded publicly with less than understanding and compassion - so much so that Pete has never spoken of it again.

But that was typical of the times, and a working class lad like Daltrey. Just an expression of his own sad insecurity.
