Dusty's memorial at Henley

Postby JohnHarding » Mon Apr 16, 2018 10:30 pm

I imagine that many members here will have seen the pictures of the wonderful flower arrangements placed by TODSFC, LTD, and individuals to mark what would have been Dusty's 79th birthday today - and some will have actually seen them in real life having visited Henley today. I've been unable to get to my laptop until now, but just in case anyone has not seen the images elsewhere, I wanted to post these photos, which were supplied by Annette March of our Henley florists, of the two seemingly matching tributes which formed the foundation for what turned out to be a wonderful array of flowers by the end of today. David Hay Gibson, of The Official Dusty Springfield Fan Club Facebook page, and I were in contact prior to making our arrangements to try to ensure that visitors to Henley had something appropriate to view. As always, I'd like to extend thanks to the LTD membership whose donations pay for the arrangements sponsored by them, and also for the replenishment of the plants in the container next to the headstone, all of which you can see in the attached.
