Casino Royale - 50th Anniversary Limited Edition CC

Quartet Records issued a limited edition of the Casino Royale soundtrack on CD on 7 December.

This is a greatly expanded version and includes music from the film which did not appear on the original soundtrack album, music that Bacharach composed for the film but wasn't used and the edited version of Dusty's performance of TLOL which appeared in the film. In all, there are 35 tracks and the CD runs for 77 minutes.

This edition is limited to 2,000 copies. As Quartet is based in Spain, the CD is priced in euros, ie €16.95. Postage for the EU is €8.50 or €10.50, depending on the method chosen. This CD is not on either the UK or US sites of Amazon yet.

I haven't had a chance to play my copy yet, but I can certainly vouch for Quartet Records' speed of response. I ordered mine on Monday evening and it arrived on Thursday morning. Pretty good, given that it was coming from Spain to UK.

Is the 3.48 mono "Film Vocal" a completely different take from the 4.11 stereo version? Does it use the same backing track but faded early?

The 'film vocal' version is an edited version of Track 2, in that the vocal ends earlier than on the Track 2 version.
