Floral tribute to mark the 20th anniversary

With the usual assistance from Annette March from The White Garden florist in Henley, I arranged for a flower display to be placed on the headstone in the churchyard there in time for today's 20th anniversary. Here are three photos which Annette provided - the white flowers are the ones from Let's talk Dusty. The coloured display was arranged by David Hay-Gibson on behalf of the Facebook group which he administers.
This is one of those special occasions when the donations of members allow us to mark such a significant event so touchingly, and to demonstrate just how treasured Dusty's memory remains. The same will be true next month, when we celebrate what would have been her 80th birthday.
As always, I'd like to thank everyone who has made donations which allows us to make gestures like this. It really is a privilege for me to be able to make these arrangements, and I shall be sending copies of the photos and this text to Pat Rhodes later today. She doesn't need cheering after the completion of her post operative treatment if her telephone demeanour is anything to go by, but she will be delighted to know that this group continues to hold Dusty in such warm affection, just as we are all delighted to know that her health is restored.
