Hey Jeffery, you mean the song "See all her faces"? It's on the album of the same name, one of my favourite Dusty albums.

Here's the song for you!

its beautiful!!!!! i remember seeing that footage of her running and playing, and being taken with the lovely song playing along. Took me a few listens to figure out it was "See All Her Faces".

@Jeffrey- i think the only US release that has the song on it is Dusty in London.

 :rose: Oh ! That's so beautiful, so beautiful. I've missed so much. Thanks everyone. :rose:
I was pretty sure that was a UK only release, and of course one of her most artful album covers.
Another one for my wish list. [8)]

Another good documentary, thanks Cor. This means many more hours, and excuses, to sit in front of this laptop

One of my favorite parts is when Pat is sitting in the floor pulling out her Dusty albums. You can tell how much she truly loves Dusty.. <3

Yes Charlotte, she does!

The whole opening of Keats' poem is applicable here:

A thing of beauty is a joy for ever:
Its loveliness increases; it will never
Pass into nothingness; but still will keep
A bower quiet for us, and a sleep
Full of sweet dreams, and health, and quiet breathing.
Therefore, on every morrow, are we wreathing
A flowery band to bind us to the earth,
Spite of despondence, of the inhuman dearth
Of noble natures, of the gloomy days,
Of all the unhealthy and o'er-darkened ways
Made for our searching: yes, in spite of all,
Some shape of beauty moves away the pall
From our dark spirits.

:rose: Thank you Dusty :rose:

[^] Yeah, I cherish this scene too Charlotte. It's steeped in the empathy of someone reflecting on a family photo album.
Such a nice poem by Keats Nancy. I wish I had more time to indulge in the classics. :rose:

[8D] I watched DD last weekend, and just have to say what a great documentary it is. I might just watch it again this weekend. [^]

I just saw this for the first time and I loved it! I did feel my blood pressure go through the roof when Vicki makes her asinine comments, though. I really don't think she could be further from the truth. My impression of VW is that she's a real snake. I really liked Pat, Simon, and Madeline, though. They seemed to genuinely care about Dusty.

I am in total agreement. I love to hear Dusty's speaking voice, it is so beautiful and rich. Vicki Wickam's on the other hand makes me want to cringe...I just fast forward whenever she is in a segment. No need to explain why I know you all get my drift.
