Is Dusty Day a thing of the past? I recall when lots of members used to post 'how many sleeps' it was till DD and come from all over the world. Perhaps after 19 years fans no longer feel it necessary for such an event? I have never been to one in the UK but in 2002 I did attend a DD at Joe's Pub in New York which was fun.

I've been to every one and so have quite a few others but many come for a few years and then disappear, while new folk join us. A couple of the people who would post the "how many sleeps" post aren't going this year and I think the fact that we are all getting older is playing a big part in that! There has been more talk and posts on Facebook guess.

I'm no longer on Dusty Facebook pages so don't see what's posted there. I still check into LTD 4/5 times a week to see if anything new has been posted but these days there's very little. New members post a few times then vanish which is a pity as I enjoy what new fans have to say. I don't post much these days as I'd just be repeating myself and that would be boring. I hope that all those going to DD have a great time. [:)] :dig:

This is an album I put together with a few photos from each year of DD from 2000. I think it will work here :?:

Nice to see some friends there but sadly some are no longer with us like Ralph Covino from Boston.

I’ve been trying to post photos of DD but on here they all need resizing which is a pain.
So easy to post on Facebook but a nightmare on here!!

As Trek says, very difficult and time consuming to post lots of photos on here and so I'll do as I've done in the last few years and post my Facebook album. It was another really enjoyable day [:D]

The technical possibilities of this forum are unfortunately a little limited. Posting a link to a Facebook album is a good idea! Great to see everyone's had a great time!

Thanks for putting the pics on for the Dusty day. It looks like everyone had a good time. Lovely to see Pat, Simon, the fab Madeline, Liane and of course Julie Felix. Great to see Jonathan looking very well. Any details of the money raised for the Marsden??
"every day I find you're in my heart and on my mind"
