Give Me Time - L'amore se ne va

Postby countrycake » Tue Aug 12, 2014 7:16 pm

I may very well have missed it, but I don't recall having seen any reference in these pages to the original Italian song whose English version was Give Me Time. Released in 1966 by Carmelo Pagano as L'amore se ne va, it won a song competition in Italy known as the Festival of Roses, beating entries from the likes of Pino Donaggio and Paul Anka.

Prefer Dusty. she would have loved the "household cavalry" drum roll at the beginning!
I'd rather see the world the way it used to be.......
