Christmas With The Springfields

Postby countrycake » Fri Dec 07, 2012 9:56 pm

The Christmas edition of Record Collector magazine has half a page about this EP issued with Woman's Own magazine in the UK in 1962. The writer of the piece gets a bit confused about Tim Feild's name, claiming that it is misspelt on the reverse of the sleeve and should be 'Field'.

It is brand new Paula, it's in this months Record Collector [:)] Somebody surely will let the writer know of his little mistake, Tim probably got that all the time. I still have my copy, here's the back cover...

I started this thread five years ago when Record Collector magazine did a piece on this EP for their Christmas 2012 edition.

Lo and behold, they have commissioned another piece for their Christmas 2017 edition and here it is.

The record was not issued with Woman's Own you had to order it, I remember there were a few in the offer including one by Frankie Vaughan.
