Recent donations activity

Postby JohnHarding » Tue Jan 17, 2017 9:46 pm

As I indicated last week, I asked The Celia Hammond Animal Trust to record sponsorship by 'Let's talk Dusty' of their cats Brian and Eden. The sponsorship costs GBP20 per year per cat; thank you to those donors who asked for their funds to be used for this specific purpose. It seems likely that I shall be sent two T shirts as a result of the sponsorship, and I shall be offering those to Simon Bell for auction at Dusty Day this April in case anyone is interested.

I've also received the promised photos of Dusty's memorial in Henley following the refreshing of the planter next to the memorial stone. I'm attaching the photos to this message; again, thank you everyone who indicated that their donations should be used for this purpose, and to Annette from the Henley florist who I know reads posts on the site, and who handles our requirements so thoughtfully.

More flowers will be placed on the stone in time for the March 2nd anniversary, and I'll send photographs in due course.

Best regards to everyone,

John

I've thanked you elsewhere John but it's important to thank you here for your work in arranging the planter to be filled and the other charities taken care of. The planter looks beautiful, Annette and White Garden do a great job and it's lovely to know that fan donations here at LTD allow this to happen x
There's a part of you, that's a part of me...

You put in a great deal of loving work in this, John, thank you so much for arranging this. It's a lovely floral arrangement, and the colours are gorgeous!

Also happy with sponsoring Brian and Eden, though I'm allergic to cats!

The planter looks lovely...thanks for arranging John.
It's so nice to see so much colour surrounding the marker at this time of the year.

LTD members do a grand job of donating etc for both the charities and the flowers and plants, long may we continue to do so
