Spoke to the gang on the phone an hour or so ago...sounds like they're having a grand time! Wish we could ALL be there with them.

Just back now from Cas` house, and we have had a lovely day. Cas put on such a lovely buffet for us all, i had three helpings! Helen had made a cake too! And we had some pink champagne as well , nancy called us all which was a great surprise. Was lovely to see Cas, carole and moira, especially when all the scrap books came out!!!! We also all watched the tennis final and cheered andy on to victory. And we watched quite a lot of dusty footage and talked a lot about her, always my favourite part, hearing from the original fans. Also present were five pairs of dustys shoes, the dress, the armani suit and the leather jacket and a set of eyelashes. So a great day all round i say, wish we could all get together more often

Glad you all enjoyed yourselves, you do realise I was left all alone, by myself all day, with no one to talk to, and I had to amuse myself.

But I agree Neil we should all get together in the centre of the universe, 4 times a year.

A big thank you to Cas for having us all today and for putting on a big spread. She'll be eating the leftovers for the rest of the week! Neil loved the cheeseboard [:D] Great to have some Dusty obsessing going on and the afternoon just went in a flash. Thanks too to Andy Murray for winning in three quick sets so that we could get back to Dusty :bravo: Nice to talk to Nancy (and Laura) as well, although she thought she'd got through to the Battersea Dog's Home at first and so hung up on us! Luckily she tried again but was still confused!

Forgot my proper camera but took a few snaps on the phone and they're at the end of this Facebook album.

It was SO lovely to see you all yesterday, loved every minute of the day. To beable to hold the gown was like a dream come true, and of course sparked off a good discussion about it. Loved seeing all the Dusty shoes, and the leather jacket is awesome Helen! The Armani suit I hadn't seen before in the flesh so to speak...such a tiny waist, but then Dusty was very slender wasn't she. Helen had brought two signed items she had bought on Ebay, and Dustys lashes, which I am proud to say I own a pair of too. We watched lots of Dusty coverage inbetween cheering on Andy in the tennis final! Way to go Andy !Moira had brought her scrap book and there were newpaper clippings I hadn't seen before so I was really happy to see them, also lots of autos too. Carole had also brought mags and posters for us all to look at, with a few of those I hadn't seen before either, I was loving it all!
The buffet seemed to go down well, but you didn't eat enough of it! [;)] [:D] Helen made this lovely cake with Dusty piped on in pink...of course. Thank you Helen.
Nice to hear from Nancy, thank you for the thimble and Dusty goodies, sorry I wound you up re Battersea Dogs Home! [:D]
It was lovely to see you all, wish we lived closer, we could do this more often.
Thank you for helping to clear things away and a special thanks to Moira for washing up...you can come again! [;)] [:D]
I'll post pics later as I havent time this morning as I have yet another hospital appointment.
