Hey team!!

Well I had a fantastic time at Dusty Day this year! I haven't been since 2008 but wow seeing those familiar faces just felt like no time had passed at all. Nancy, Cor, Carole, Cas, Janice, Neil, Jason, Laura, Moira, Wendy, Jen it was so good to see you again! And all the dear new people I finally got to meet Helen, Jodie, Paula, Markus, Angela it was amazing to sit down and chat with you and get to know you. I'm so disappointed I couldn't get to Henley, I think it's just all caught up with me and I ended up with the flu. Lucky I live in London now so a trip to Henley isn't too far but it's not the same without everyone there.

Dusty day just flew by and I have to say it was the weirdest feeling going there now that I live here. The other times it has been a massive holiday and this year I just went on a day off!! It didn't take anything away from it though I still had such fun.

And you know we thought it was good to see you again Claire, what kept you? Cor, looking at the address on your card, there's obviously no postmark as she didn't post it, so I was wondering when that particular visit was. We know she stayed at Cregg twice, so when did she stay at the Lodge? Perhaps they can tell you that even if they don't have a visitors book. Btw, this place looks a lot posher than Cregg, maybe Dusty felt in need of more pampering this time around.

my head is still spinning- I met so many wonderful people. Had such a great time. Madeline reduced me to tears singing "A House is Not a Home".

Meeting Carole G, Karen, Cas, Wend, Mel, Rosie, Will, Janice, Jodie, Angela...not to mention Madeline, Douggie, Simon, Pat...I know I met a bunch of other people. Everyone was so cool. I was completely overwhelmed. I would turn around and there was someone else I was being introduced to.

Pat Rhodes is absolutely delightful. Meeting her was one of the highlights of the day. At the end of the night when karaoke came on, I was surprised she was still there. After I sang "Easy" I came off the stage and was heading to the bathroom and she took my hand and said "Markus, that is one of my favorite songs, and you sang it wonderfully". You could've knocked me down with a feather right there...

I always look forward to your photo's Paula, you manage to catch the atmosphere really well and a lot of off the cuff moments. Mind you, I'm wondering why I have a red head on the fifth photo ;) Do we know who the rather flamboyantly dressed lady is, anyone speak to her?
