So sad to hear the passing of the wonderful Doris Day.
She had her 97th birthday in April.
I have loved her films and her beautiful voice all my life. I contributed to her animal welfare foundation and had regular newsletters about the animals and so on.
A lovely long life and I hope she is reunited with her only son Terry .
" Happy endings " was a song he wrote for her but she had him sing it instead and its a lovely song included on her last cd.
God bless you Doris ,you were one of Hollywoods greatest. :star: :rose:
"every day I find you're in my heart and on my mind"

"she was the very essence of fabness""

" its nice to rest for awhile thank you "

One of the artists that Icon fits perfectly.
Have loved the voice and films of Doris Day for as long as I can remember. She always seemed to enjoy her work, whether it was singing or acting.
A bright star will be shining in the sky :star:
She found real contentment after she retired with her animals.
May she RIP :rose:

ImageI wondered why the sun wasn't out today - here's Doris with perhaps my fave song of hers: with so many gems to select from I can only say perhaps!
